Description: |
Each holiday volunteers have the opportunity, along with Salvation Army staff, to greet nursing home residents and/or hospital patients and distribute gifts to residents. The objective of Community Care Ministries is the provision of spiritual and social ministry to the needy, in the name of Christ. Our motto is Matthew 25:40: "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me."
We are looking for 10 volunteers for each date. All ages are welcome to volunteer, but youth 15 and younger need to have an adult with them.

Time: Meal fellowship at 5:30 p.m.(not required to attend), distribution 6:15 – 8:15 p.m.

You may choose to volunteer for one or both dates. Once you have indicated your availability, you will be assigned to the shift and sent a confirmation email with the details of your schedule. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call 651-746-3426 to make sure you are scheduled to volunteer. |
