Description: |
We are looking for 15-20 people who could rotate on an annual basis to work support groups, guest speaker groups and any other events on a need basis, for example, the Holiday Party on December 8th. Duties would include playing with the kids, assist with a child in play, give them snacks or a bottle if needed and speaking with the parents about special needs or how their child did during the play time. These volunteers need to have a passion to work with children, experience working with children and they need to be calm and patient.
The time needed is from 6-8:30 pm once every other month, the 2nd Wednesday of every month and at various events to be determined. This person will work directly with Darlene in our Programs department.
