Description: |
Summary of Position: Coordinate and organize the appreciation and thank you of volunteers along with the maintenance of volunteer database including tracking hours, maintaining records of recognition for birthdays, anniversaries and special events.
Reports to Whom: Volunteer Manager
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Obtaining and managing volunteer up to date records and dates 2. coordinate the timely distribution of letters 3. responsible for writing and mailing letters 4. Track all volunteers hours 5. Possible research for potential programs and appreciation events 6. Inventory of cards, envelopes and stamps used for volunteer letters 7. Sit on Volunteer Committee (meets once a month) 8. Possible management of other volunteers
Skills and Qualifications: 1. Attention to detail 2. Professional/Good etiquette 3. Legible writing 4. Ability and willing to learn database/computer skills 5. Ability to work as a team
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a week at your own time, in office. Hours will vary following events.
Training: 1 hour of orientation on job responsibilities and office
