Each year AEF is a major beneficiary of Folsom Street Events, producers of Up Your Alley Street Fair and Folsom Street Fair. As a major beneficiary, we have committed to providing volunteers (25 volunteers for Up Your Alley Street Fair and 45 volunteers for Folsom Street Fair & Magnitude) to fill the enormous staffing needs of these street fairs, saving them thousands of dollars. These savings are then passed on to the beneficiaries in the form of grants. Volunteer tasks can include: set-up, beverages, bike riders/couriers, coat check, breakdown (strike), entertainment, first aid, floaters, gates, hospitality, treasury, exhibitors, volunteer tent, supply truck, recycling. Attending a volunteer orientation is required for each street fair. This is a ‘general volunteer interest’ listing – signing up does not commit you to specific shifts. When shifts become available we will contact you. |
