Mission Statement: |
Amnesty International's mission is to promote awareness of ,and adherence to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other internationally recognized human rights instruments. We uphold the right of every person to be free from discrimination and imprisonment by reason of ethnic origin, sex, colour, language or religious belief and particularly works towards the unconditional release of "prisoners of conscience."
All funds are raised locally. AI Bermuda acts as an information resource on human rights and is developing a Human Rights Library, available to the general public. |
