Mission Statement: |
Established in 1938 and incorporated in 1995. The BCB has been an Associate member of the International Cricket Council since 1966. Its objectives include planning, organising and administering competitive cricket for all age groups and arranging international fixtures both in Bermuda and overseas. The BCB formulates the laws and rules governing cricket in Bermuda accordance with ICC guidelines. The BCB conducts courses for club cricketers and teachers to become qualified to teach and coach cricket. The BCB annually organises Youth Leagues for club and school teams for boys and girls ages 5 to 17 and holds summer cricket camps over a 5 week period for school children between the ages of 7 and 15.
Our Mission is to govern, control, promote and develop the playing of cricket in the islands of Bermuda which reflects the cultural traditions and the spirit of the game with particular reference to sportsmanship and conduct. To seek affiliation with or recognition from similar cricket controlling bodies throughout the world. |
